Stay here if in SW Rocks
Room was clean, warm and comfortable. Person who checked us was very friendly and helpful (sorry, didn’t get name). Didn’t intend to go to restaurant, but on a rainy night, was the easy option - very glad we did. Judy (waitperson) was terrific - warm, helpful, and very busy - she was on her own on the floor and didn’t miss a beat. Himself ordered a T-bone, and was most impressed, cooked as required, and well seasoned. Very reasonable prices, excellent value.

What a gem
Room was spacious & included well appointed kitchenette & lovely comfortable lounge chairs. Very clean & comfortable throughout. The on-site restaurant served fantastic meals at extremely reasonable prices. Staff were all very friendly. A real gem.

Great overnight stay
Highly recommend this place.Very clean , comfortable and well appointed rooms.The reception staff were so friendly and welcoming and also suggested sites we might like to visit in the area.We only stayed for one night and did not use the onsite restaurant so cannot give a comment.

Great place for a getaway
We enjoyed our stay at Rockpool, clean, comfortable and good value. Located walking distance to the bowling club with a lovely pool, although it's small. The restaurant was great, delicious meals at a reasonable price. The room service breakfast was also excellent. The staff were friendly and we couldn't fault our stay here. I would highly recommend this Motor Inn for your next stay at South West Rocks!

Way better than expected
OK so this was a massive surprise how good this place was.
Super clean, comfy beds, more amenities than you would usually see in a motel - more like a hotel.
Pool was clean and great temperature, towels provided.
Best part was the staff. So friendly and accommodating. Oh and the restaurant and bar attached. How good! The food was awesome, the specials were too low priced in my opinion they deserve more and the rest of the prices were cheap too. Large meals that were delicious. $5 beers and wines...unheard of! So good. Almost no need to leave for the beach, just stay in this mini resort haha (we totally did this one day, we had our 7 month old with us and we happily chilled by the little pool with some drinks)

Best place to stay when in South West Rocks
This hotel has become our home away from home once a year. With new management I’m happy to say its remains a great venue to stay when in South West Rocks. Additionally the restaurant is now under new hands and the meals are fresh and not overly priced. Staff at this hotel are happy, helpful and nothing is too big a problem. We will be back for sure.

Great Motel in a fabulous location, Clean, bright and had everything we needed for our family t6rip away.
Great Motel in a convenient location, just a short stroll to the town and beaches. Friendly staff and managers, the rooms were clean and tidy and had everything we needed. We have been back 3 times to this Motel and would recommend it to anyone visiting South West Rocks.

Great place to stay
Had a good experience at Rockpool. Easy booking and checkin. Rooms clean and well laid out. We only stayed two nights but you could unpack a weeks worth of clothes if you wanted. 10-15 mins walk to everything. Kids enjoyed the small pool. Appreciated the EV charger.

Best stay in town
Fantastic value room right next to the country club and beach - walking distance for both. Serviced daily and hosts lovely people. On site restaurant is very good food at very reasonable prices. Steaks are best in town. Very clean and on site pool a bonus. Also has undercover parking.

We stayed here for five nights over Christmas - we booked three rooms, and the rooms - were clean and fresh and had everything we needed. Small kitchenette and microwave if needed. The restaurant is available - and within walking distance to the beach, shops, Country Club, anywhere. The owners were so so helpful and friendly before - during, and upon leaving. I would highly recommend this motel to anyone and would stay again. I just loved the fact that our rooms were made up each day - rubbish was removed, and I did not have to take linen or make beds; fantastic wish I could have stayed longer. Thank you xxx

Amazing welcome , friendly and happy and helpful . Directed to our room and showed where to park .room comfortable with all you need for an overnight stay. Fabulous large shower. Restaurant downstairs was the best ever, very busy but staff pleasant and helpful food was 5 star. Beach a 10 minute walk away absolutely beautiful wish we could have stayed longer . Highly recommend

We had a lovely 3 night Stay just after Christmas. We were warmly greeted on our arrival, our room was beautifuly Clean and comfortable! The grounds and pool were immaculate! It was just amazing! We will definitely be back Thanks Di and Fred :)

Wonderful stay we had everything we needed. Fred so welcoming on check in and made sure we had everything we needed. Our 8 year old enjoyed the heated pool. Located close to the beach coffee shops and restaurants. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again when in South West Rocks again.

Hidden gem - Clean, Comfortable and a Quiet Location
We loved our room with plenty of space, comfortable bed, quiet air-conditioning, kitchenette and well-designed bathroom with dispensers for hand soap, shower gel, shampoo etc. An easy 10 min walk to beach and shops. The on-site bar and restaurant is excellent. Undercover secure parking. Friendly staff and we appreciated fresh milk on arrival.

Have stayed here a few times, which is why we come back. Everything is in the room that you need if you want to self cater, or there is an on-site Restaurant for meals. At the moment with COVIDSafe restrictions the meals will be delivered to your room. The management is very friendly and helpful. The room is very spacious, there is a pool and a guest laundry. It’s located a short walk to the local sports club. A 5 minute drive to the shops and beach. Will always recommend staying here.

Absolutely loved our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful with nothing too much trouble. Our room was very large with its own balcony and spa. Super clean and quiet too. Will definitely be staying here again.

GREAT room heaps of space VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. Beds are superb. Jodie was Very friendly and helpful. We were on our motor bikes raining. SO UNDER COVER PARKING FANBLOODYTASTIC. WILL BE BACK

The Rockpool was a great find at South West Rocks. The service was excellent, friendly and welcoming at reception, we arrived early and it was no problem to check-in. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. The restaurant was a real little gem - delicious food, brilliant service and value for money.

"Great place to stay overnight returning from the Gold Coast"
Jody booked us into our preferred upstairs room and into the Restaurant as well , we enjoyed both the overnight stay and the evening meal . Following our stay we were back in Sydney around midday .If travelling from the Gold Coast ,and stopping every couple of hours for short refreshment you can be at this Motel around 2,30 pm . Plenty of time to visit the shopping areas locally .

"Comfortable room, lovely pool, great staff"
We had planned to have a few days on the mid north coast of NSW and booked the Rockpool at South West Rocks. Jody was most helpful in changing our booking when the bush fires were raging and we felt it was best to stay out of the area. The following week we had a lovely stay and would highly recommend it. The bed was very comfortable, the small kitchen was adequate for our breakfast and afternoon tea. We enjoyed exploring the area, visiting Trial Bay gaol and the Smoky Cape lighthouse. Views were a bit obscured by bushfire smoke, but we will be back to further enjoy South West Rocks and the Rockpool Motor Inn.
