Little Bay is a secluded beach nestled between granite cliffs, just south of the headland near Trial Bay Gaol in Arakoon National Park. Pack your fishing gear for a day at the beach.  Bring your lunch and enjoy the Little Bay picnic area overlooking the ocean.

Standing high on a narrow headland, Smoky Cape Lighthouse is surrounded by the stunning coastal scenery of Hat Head National Park. The lighthouse itself is as beautiful as the views – check out its winding staircase and octagonal tower.  It really is worth the climb!

For a glimpse into Australian history, head to South West Rocks to explore the historic ruins of Trial Bay Gaol. Make sure you see the view from the sentry’s lookout.

Horseshoe Bay is a beautiful little beach surrounded by towering pines. This sheltered area is a very popular swimming area for families.

Front Beach is the surfing beach for South West Rocks. The surf club is located on the eastern side of Monument Point and looks east along the beach. The beach curves for 3.7 km to the east, northeast and finally north, terminating against Laggers Point. Saltwater Creek exits against the rocks at the foot of the surf club and follows the rear of the beach for 2.5 m. At the surf club access to the beach is across the creek mouth or via a footbridge from the picnic area.

Back Creek is a popular recreational boating, fishing and swimming destination for locals and tourists - it now has a new large fishing platform & the bridge is very popular for jumping off into the creek at high tide.
