Rockpool Motor Inn Facilities

FAX & COPY SERVICE A scan to email & photo-copy service is available at reception. Charges apply.

INTERNET ACCESS  Free Wi-Fi internet access is available to all guests. This service is essentially for internet browsing and checking emails. Large downloads and streaming will slow down the system. The email password is RockpooL (note capital R and capital L).

LAUNDRY The guests’ laundry is open from 8am to 8pm. It is located at the top of the stairs adjacent to room 27. The cost is $3 per cycle for washing machine, and dryer is free of charge. Laundry powder is available from reception for $1 per bag. If you prefer to dry your clothes naturally there are clothes lines with pegs behind room seven which can be accessed through the gate between rooms seven and eight.

RECEPTION is open from 7:30 am to 7pm each day. During these hours if reception unattended we are either working around the motel or upstairs. There is a bell on the counter.

Management is available after hours for emergencies and disturbances. Please phone the motel direct on 6566 7755 or ring the night bell located outside of reception

ROOM SERVICING  Rooms are serviced daily from 9am to 12 noon. If you do wish to utilise this service, please slide the sign on the outside of your door to the ‘Do Not Disturb’ position. Stays over five nights will receive a linen change. We do not service rooms on Sundays or Public Holidays.

WE ARE A NON SMOKING MOTEL Smoking is only permitted at our designated smoking area adjacent to the front gate entrance. Smoking in a room will incur a minimum sanitisation fee of $220. Further information located on our ‘House Rules’ page below.

SWIMMING POOL Our swimming pool is open daily from 8am to 7pm. The pool is for use by motel guests ONLY.

  • Pool towels are available from reception free of charge during your stay so please do not use the white towels from your room.
  • Please wash off sand before entering pool.
  • Absolutely no glass is to be taken into the pool area.
  • Children under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied in the pool area by an adult. If there is no adult in attendance the child will be asked to vacate by management until an adult is present.

TEA & COFFEE  All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, a toaster, microwave oven and a selection of crockery, cutlery and glassware. Additional fresh milk is available from reception.

TELEVISION Our Smart TVs offer the full range of free to air TV channels.

WASTE & RECYCLING We have a recycling program in place and appreciate your assistance. Your room features two bins for general waste, one under the kitchenette and one in the bathroom.There is also a recycling bin under the bathroom vanity. Please place all bottles (plastic and glass), jars, cans, newspaper, cardboard and other recyclable items in this bin. In addition, there are four waste stations throughout the property, two on each level. At each of these points you will find a general waste bin and a recycling bin. These are for use when relaxing outside or for overflow from your room.

PLEASE DO NOT PLACE SEAFOOD SCRAPS IN BINS. CONTACT RECEPTION FOR APPROPRIATE DISPOSAL.

House Rules

These rules are in place to facilitate the quiet enjoyment and safety of all our guests. Management reserves the right to ask guests to leave for breach of conditions without a refund.

1.     Strictly no smoking in rooms or common areas of the property. Smoking in a room can render the room unusable for anything up to one week. A minimum $220 sanitisation fee will be charged, and the guest asked to leave if this rule is breached. There is a designated smoking area adjacent to the front entrance under the umbrella.

2.     Due to health regulations pets are not permitted. Registered companion and guide dogs are exempt. Reception must be notified if companion or guide dogs are on the property.

3.     Fish and/or oysters must not be cleaned/opened on the property. Most local boat ramps have fish cleaning tables and facilities.

4.     It is against NSW Fire Regulations to cook in motel rooms. The microwave oven in the room is for reheating only.

5.     Guests are responsible for any repairs to furniture, electrical equipment or appliances which are damaged as a result of misuse by guests. Any actions deemed malicious by management will incur charges.

6.     No responsibility is taken for guest’s personal property left on the premises after guest departure.

7.     No person shall conduct themselves in a manner that is a nuisance or annoyance to other guests or neighbours.

8.     Please keep noise to a minimum after 9pm including TVs. Absolutely no noise after 10pm. Guests may be asked to leave if this clause is ignored and will not be eligible for a refund.

9.     Visitors: Guests are allowed up to two visitors per room. No visitors can swim in the motel’s pool. Visitors must vacate the property prior to 9:00pm. Visitors must park on the street. Guests are responsible and liable for any act or omission by any visitor the guest allows on the property.

10.  For the safety and comfort of all guests, the riding of bicycles, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades and the like, is strictly prohibited on the property.

Failure to comply with these conditions may result in immediate eviction without refund.
